Howdy RJ,

Here about a year ago, i posted a drawing of how to make "canvas" from womens nylons for use on scale armor models.
Below is the illustration i posted in my gallery:

Anyway, back when I devised this method in the 90's, I also used the same material for camo netting. Being that the material is elastic, you can cut small strips and "poke" them thru the fabric to achieve "camo netting" .
The main bulk of the material can be airbrushed or spray painted prior to the insertion of the strips, likewise, the strips should be painted prior to being cut into strips and insertion in the main body of the fabric.
I am sorry i dont have any examples prepared to show you, but I think you can kind of picture what i am talking about in your mind.
The good thing about this material is that it is and remains elastic even after painting and can be 'stretched" between anchor points on a model. The bad thing about this material is your friends or wife finding out you have been playing with your wifes or girl friends panty hose lol.

Anyway i hope this helps and if you have any further questions on hosw to achieve the effect you want, let me know and i will help as best I can.

Have a good day,

Greg
