Well she had her first outing today and she performed very well indeed! Sorry no picture, I took the camcorder with me but it was refusing to recognise the disc. Held a steady depth through out on just the pitch controller on its own, nice rolls into turns at speed before selfrighting, Turns on a six pence too. One interesting thing is applying full rudder bring the boat to a halt sharpish, due to reverse thrust effect creater by the big rudder up close to the prop. The motor was emitting a strange smell when I opened here up and was pretty hot to touch. The ESC held up. Only problem is she is not fast enough, about 1/2 the speed on the sub on the video and I couldn't get her airborne. The pitch controller does not allow me to command full up; as the boat changes pitch the controller tries to level her out. I am going to change to Subtech APC to see it this helps. I figure I am going to need to go faster so I am pondering a brushless upgrade and more volts
