Well, here comes my new model – Ju 52/3m 1/72 by Heller. I wouldn’t buy this kit because I don’t like their quality. But the kit is a present and I decided to make it as well as I can. First I bought a book: Luftwaffe Transport Units. The model represents machine that served in KGzbV 1 in Greece, May 1941.

I made several changes and added some home made upgrades. I weighted wheels, scratch built machine guns, used different painting scheme that that “from the box”. I used Techmod’s balkenkruzes and swastikas, some dry decals for black lettering (yellow letters are painted). I also used my Zundapp KS 750 as a cargo. Enough talking here are some pictures; unfortunately I did not photograph the build from the beginning.

As you see I had to fill some shorts with Milliput (main gear). I also swapped the pushrods with lengths of thin wire. More pictures coming soon.
