ok, just about ready to stick the two sides together. just got to do the bits of soundproofing around the windows. il do that tomorrow,

here are some pics of the two sides before and after the detail. also a little shot of the over head intrument panel that no one but me will se but i know its there so its all good lol. the tops of the canopy are painted with tamiyas X-19 "Smoke" (and they are not holes in the paint, just reflections from my light lol) also a shot of the front landing gear. got a few bits to touch up there and add some more detail. will try and make the landing lights a bit more shiny as well.

before anyone says anything, yes i know the cross-hatching on the sound proofing are different scales on each side. It took quite a few attempts and hacking up to get the right shapes so the kit still fits together and it was all done free hand so in the end i said sod it, its only 1/72 scale and who is really going to notice. to be honest even the smaller ones are about 2x too big but any smaller would have been almost impossible. what i have gives the right appearence and texture so im happy!
