Convair B-36 Peacemaker
Have had this model on the workbench for the past month,the kit originally came from Nigel.D who swopped it for some drawings that I did for him,after about 120 hours of work the model is taking shape,just like the original the aircraft is most impressive dwarfing everything else,for its day it was a masterpiece of aviation engineering with those six pushers and four jet engines roaring away,you get a glimpse of one of these in flight in the film 'Strategic Air Command' with that brilliant actor James Stewart,a couple survive in museum's in the U.S.A and a few operated in the UK during the fifties.
It is a good kit that just needs careful assembly to get the very best from it.
