| I feel I must reply to some of Antuks comments, Kingswinford pool was leased as it offered access 7 days a week compared to our original lake that had access only on Wednesday and Saturday, this lease has now been ammended by the leaseing authority to give upto six days a week excluding Sunday.
The secretary does not control any water, leases are signed by the committee officers, the water refered to regarding disabled access is not and never has been an official club water. Members have permision to use this if they wish on an informal basis.
Regarding water testing, why is this held up to ridicule? Kingswinford park lake when first accessed by the club was prone to flooding even in periods of low rainfall, this suggested areas of stagnant water with the associated risks. Is concern of members health not to be considered? My final thought is that you can please some of the members some of the time but not all members all of the time. |
