I found a few sources for drawings of industrial narrow gauge rolling stock:

The Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway have published some drawings of their stock dated 1999 by Steve Tompson.

Jeremy Tilston has published a monthly CD-Rom Magazine which he's sadly no longer producing but is selling the back catalogue on CD -
Industrial Narrow Gauge Illustrated combined CD-ROM.

I'm not sure why but there are a few camps in railway modelling it seems - There are the indoor railway modellers 00 etc where detail is paramount, scratchbuilding is popular and there is a wealth of info and kits available. Then there's the hardened model engineer types working on larger gauge locos, turning every last rivet on their lathe and building a fully functioning scale replica...

...then there is 16mm:ft - which is populated by the sort of Mamod, Toy, Triang set, no information, anything goes narrow gauge wagons and tub wagons made from margerine tubs.

I haven't worked out why as the 16mm:ft narrow gauge wagons are a nice size and at 1:20th can be built like the real thing with lots of nice details, the chunky look of the stock also lends itself to modelling. But saying all that two lollipop sticks with cable clips for axle boxes and flora tubs...Grinds his teeth!

Is it an area of scale Railway modelling that time forgot?
