| It's a great system in the UK, We still have a mix of Imperial and Metric. Speed limits are in Imperial, we buy produce in pounds, distances on road sings are in miles. At primary school we teach kids in centimetres and then in secondary schools we use a mix of centimetres and milimetres, and still a lot of kids come into school using inches because their dad's learnt that way from their own dads!
It's very confusing!
