it all depends really, i have the tamiya 1/350 Musashi (the yamotos sister ship) on old at the moment, i have the p/e set for it and i think it makes a great difference. especially when it comes to all the hand rails.
yours will be bigger than mine so it might lack quite a bit of detail without it. but then again seeing as yours will be bigger it might be easy to scratch build things like railings. |
