HI all around. My good friend Jeff is coming over at Christmas to have his 1/35 Tiger 1 (early production 1941) painted German Gray. Part of the weathering I would like to apply is "chipped paint". I would like to know what primer color was used in these tanks prior to their final gray color coats. Or do I have to use a diffrent primer color in order to contrast well with the German gray and have a more pronounced "chipped-off paint look"? Your thoughts on this shall be highly appreciated.
