Howdy Gerry, everyone,

I remembered looking at some photos of the yamato class battleships awhile back while admiring build threads over at: http://modelingmadness.com/kitindex/kitindexmain.htm which is basically a site dedicated to reviews of model builds. Not just ships, but aircraft, vehicles, space and sci-fi models etc...
well on the ships link there is a 1:350 scale Yamato and at the very bottom of that page was "references". Well that link doesnt work lol.
BUT all is not lost. Using the INTERNET ARCHIVE "WAYBACK MACHINE" ( http://www.archive.org/web/web.php ) I way able to input the unworking referenced link and was given many dates to chose from for that page that I could look at.
This "non-working page" through the magic of cyber-archiving" is suddenly alive again and can be found here: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...b08_Yamato.htm
Now i chose to look at the last available posting (oct 3rd, 2003) which gave me this link: http://web.archive.org/web/200310030...b08_Yamato.htm
(click this link to save time). It contains a wealth of info on the yamato class ships including pics.
I hope they are of some use to you in your build.

NOW......a special note. For anyone who has ever listed a site as a favorite and later found that the site is no longer available, I would suggest that you make INTERNET ARCHIVE "WAYBACK MACHINE" ( http://www.archive.org/web/web.php ) a favorite, it will be more help than you realize. And although it wont have every page listed, the times that it does find the page you are looking for will make saving it as a favorite well worth while.
