any opinions on the above and recommendations are welcome.

i would prefer to invest a bit more money on something that will last longer, better build quality, increased applications and increased tooling compatibility. although, i would be looking to spend no more than £300.

how much floorspace would you need to setup the work area for a mini lathe?
