I have finally finished the electrics inside the boat. All wires and servo extensions are in, everything is wired up and harneses are fixed. It still looks very busy inside but at least its all in and working.

I managed to get a little of the detailing done this afternoon. I have put some of the rails on the outer casing which run along the forward and stern ends. But nothing terribly interesting to be honest. just mostly filling, and sanding down. I have ordered some brass for the handrails on the tower, and some running lights and a few other bits and bobs like, stantions for handrails, white running tape, that sort of thing.

The only bit of electrics I havnt got done is the forward thruster. I need to get another electronic switch, but might have to wait until pay day for that one, other half will give me an ear bending if I get anything more for it this month

I got a few cans of paint for it this afternoon. I am using Plastikote Super matt black, and the plastikote Ice cream white for the sonar chin on the forward end of the boat. I have only got 2 cans of black, but I will probably have to get a 3rd, as its a big boat and I am sure I will run out. I will get it into pristine finish, and then I will weather it when its done. Before anyone at the lake starts to poke holes in the paintwork!

Not that it will stop em, most cant stand subamrines at our lake, they seem to prefer trawlers and life boats. No imagination some people !

As you can see from the paint, I literally just finished spraying it. It is matt, just its literally out of the tin!

So onto more detailing and filling !
