I have researched this quite a bit recently and come up with the best price for a small silent compresor with a reservoir. Not cheap but my priority is silence with a reservoir and this one fits the bill:

There are seven of them in the range but they are all supposed to be silent so I'll be buying a 2/9 when I get home in April.
