| Thanks a lot to all of you. Sorry I have been away for a bit - had to move to the new base to fly the new jet. In between places I had to go play in the woods for a few weeks.
I've done some picking at the premier kit, and it will probably be my basis. I am going to have to fill and re-etch the wings, as well as scratch the gear out of brass tube. The wings will likely be first, followed by the cockpit and gear.
The Airfix kit does have a pretty crummy canopy. I plan on using much of the airfix fuselage, with the exception of the nose forward of the intakes.
I'll post photos when I start making headway - this move's been a long one.
