Yes, I am.. hence my affinity for cockpits.
I've often started entire kits only to spend weeks on the cockpit and then not finish the rest of the kit! Good luck with the spit, I look forward to seeing it. I've started my 1/48 goshawk build today using the premier hawk kit as a starting point.. within the next few days I'll probably start a thread on it.
