| adding jack plug to old futaba transmitter
Hi all I have an old futaba transmitter that runs on disposable batteries but it has a place in the side for a jack plug. I figured it would save a few quid to buy a rechargeable battery pack and install it in the unit and just charge via plugging in the jack plug to avoid having to take it out each time. The trouble is I am not sure where to add the jack plug. I took it apart and there are red and black wires from the battery terminals to the on and off switch, so do I just add the jack plug between these two?? I do remember the old manual had what to do, but I can’t find it anywhere. Any info or pointers where to find info on this would be much appreciated.  Don |
