Howdy stickboy,

Ok, I can suggest a couple of options although i dont build model cars myself.

1. remove the old emblem (hopefully without removing the paint job) and replace it with a waterslide decal. made from something like the emblem I am posting at the bottom. Waterslides are easy to make if you have a printer, the waterslide paper and the sealant. making the emblem smaller is no big deal eaither, I could size one for you if you could tell me the dimensions of the lettering. Then I could make it a .jpeg which you could print out on decal paper and apply.
2. replace the tamiya paints with Alcad II Chrome paint....this requires a gloss black base coat prior to using the chrome paint and can only be applied with an airbrush.
3.create a self adhesive "sticker" using a resized version of the emblem below. Again, I could resize it to what ever size you need and email it to you or post it here for you to "capture" from this site.

I know these options aren't the most desirable, but they are the only ones i could come up with.

If you decide you want the image resized let me know, i will be monitoring this thread.

have a good day,

Greg

EDIT: I had one more thought....If you know someone with one of these models, you could ask them to create a "mold" for you using something like play-doh. They could just make an impression from their cars emblem and send you the play-doh so as that you could cast an emblem of your own.
