Howdy again JT,

One More program you might like to try as far as 3d modeling is concerned is called "Anim8or" . You can find the free download of the program here: Anim8or Free 3D Animation Software

It not only does 3d models, but you can save in a number of formats and even animate 3d models in the program. It also allows you to open most and 3d type format including .iwo, .3ds, etc...
t also has a 100 page .pdf instruction booklet that you can download too. There are even tutorials that can be downloaded and viewed.
Its a quality program and you cant beat the price "FREE"!
You can save the files and if saved in the proper formats, you can transfer them to pepakura also.
