| I’d like to thank everyone for their help and suggestions. I’ve decided to build it build it scale. I mean, really scale. The full sized bird was light and strong. I found on my 1/6 scale that often the easiest way to do something was the way they did it. So, I plan on building it pretty much like the original. I have drawings of the interior structure that I can use as a reference, and John sent me a parts catalog (I’m in trouble now! That’s like giving a junkie a year’s supply dope!)
I’ve finished the CAD drawings of the wings, so I guess I’ll build a jig and get started on wing ribs. That will be a good summer project (for rainy days). I plan on flying a bunch this year. Last summer I spent all my time getting my plane finished for a contest. This summer I just want to play.
When I get going, I’ll start a new post. I wouldn’t think of building this without your company!
