Well it seems to still be still working pretty well?!?! Up to now anyway!
I have just been sorting out the little bits before it goes back in the lake. The bow thruster was giving me a bit of grief yesterday, basically I thought the electrics had gone wonky again, because it wouldnt turn. Which was odd because a couple of days previous it worked. Anyways I started it up on the handset and nothing, turns out that a little piece of fibreglass had got stuck in the paddle inside the unit stopping it turning.
So out it came, and my god there was allsorts of junk in there !

The only problem is with it not having a fuse in, I have managed to blow the bloody electronic switch ! Bol

ks!!! My own fault, I should have put a fuse in, and checked to make sure it turned right before I powered it up. So I will use a speed controller I have instead.
I made a small tweak to the periscope mechanism as well, it wasnt moving up and down without manual intervention. Basically the plunger which activates the microswitches was slightly out, so a small adjustment to the positioning of the microswitches and sorted.
Now its just ready for the trimming at the lake, I may have to steal the better halfs car tonight, and nip down to the lake. Much better to get her car wet than mine, and I cant make it any less untidy !
