I don't know if I have ever introduced you to the other side of what I make, all my life has been centred around model boats and model engineering. I have had to give up model boats recently, due to health reasons, but I still design and build my own model engines. But not the normal variety, I go for things that are slightly different. This one took about six weeks on and off, and is made out of recycled materials, bought from the scrapyard, or given to me, or scrounged from wherever I can get it, nothing is sacred, I will use almost anything in my engines. Except the fasteners, I like them to look pretty.
This is my latest creation, and at full wack should reach around 30K RPM.
This is running around 12 to 13K.
A long intro, but well worth the wait.

BTW, this is a prototype test bed for a matched pair to drive a 10ft destroyer using steam.
