I havnt modified my perisope mechanism yet, I may do that down the line. Mine seems like its running fine for now. I think that the belt may become worn or slack quite quickley though. So in the future I will sort it.
I know one problem I had on mine was the bolts that held all the perisocpe gear on, the ones that go through the lid leaked through the threads. I used Loctite to seal them, its worked fine.! I also used washers, but it wasnt 100%!
Hopefully going to get it sorted on saturday ! Fingers Crossed.
