I agree with you entirely, but I did say that my kits could be quite old.
It is much better that they stay available and are able to improve in the future than go out of production.
It was more of a general comment rather than a complaint about Airfix, and maybe a minor comparison with other kits, which way back when Airfix ruled supreme, were not up to Airfix standard generally. Or so it seemed to me at the time. Maybe my rose tinted glasses again!
