Hello all- So very new here - so first post... I have a older plank on frame Midwest Sequin Tug that was built by a fellow to just sit on a mantle, another plank on frame old hand built Coast Guard boat boat( 34") ( morphing into a English style Steam launch), a Bowman Snipe and a few other kit boats that are slowly becoming steam launches tugs or the like. Since steam boats are not a part of the culture here in the states- I look to the UK for information and moral support A LOT!!..

I hope to begin my learning on how to make [arts and changes to my boats here. How to plank decks and gratings - repair damages from past owners etc. How far I progress into "TRUE" modeling remains to be seen. I admire all of you and are humbled by the models you turn out. My main goal is to get boats out on the water and underway with steam. I hope that I can make them look good, watertight and personalized to some degree.

So watch out for my crazy questions...and pardon my hurried fist post -- grammatically I am distracted today!
