Reminded me of someone that I taught to fly once,he was a JCB digger driver,the only person that I knew who would break the sticks on his transmitter,he used to lever the model into the turn,literally !! absolutely no feel whatsoever for anything delicate,he was always sending transmitters back to Ripmax for repair,big burly chap that would stand no nonesense if someone crossed him,but he really had a heart of gold,it takes all types.
