Long wait for a big bird ?

Scale modeller Dick Ranna had to wait 12 years to retrieve his 15 foot span model of a Piper Super Cub that had lodged itself in trees in Michigan U.S.A,the inhospitable terrain with virtually no access would mean that he just had to write his model off, almost forgotton he was surprised to have the model delivered by the new land owners who had decided to clear the area, apart from a few big gashes in the covering due to branches going through it the model was in remarkably good condition, despite its exposure to the elements, even the big fourstroke fired up after a bit of oiling, just goes to show never give up the chances of getting your model back again.
