*** Hello Jim,yes there is a certain amount of nostalgia attached to some of these models,it is incredible to think that model kits we purchased for two old shillings with our pocket money some 40 years ago,are still available today albeit at a much inflated price ! with modern adhesives, paints and above all our ability to do things that much better through experience it is a real joy to make them again.
Jim I love to here stories that people are enjoying their respective hobbies wherever our interests lie, quite often I have returned home tired and after tea retired to the model room, result after a few engrossed hours building feel refreshed again,it is just immersing yourself into the model and that is what an hobby is for an escape from the humdrum of the everyday rat race.More power to you and your R/C boats.
