On the workbench-Concorde,Part 2

This underneath view shows to good advantage the unique and complex wing shape on Concorde, the laminer flow sections have been well reproduced in model form and must have proved a real headache for Airfix toolmakers to get the shape just right, also shown here is the well made undercarriage legs which have piano wire inserts incorporated into them,no nose ballast is needed to keep her nose on the ground, the tyres are synthetic soft plastic and press onto the whhel hubs themselves. For those wanting a stronger undercarriage Messrs Aeroclub are producing white metal casting sets for this model,my model will eventually be retrofitted with these when available.
