On the workbench-Concorde,Part 4



This final view gives an indication of the size of the model ( and the real thing as well ) by comparing it with a Douglas Dakota to the same 1=72 nd scale,I wonder what the Douglas engineers would have thought,if someone had told them that one day would be travelling supersonic with passengers across the Atlantic ?! it is sometimes hard to grasp mans progress in the air and the obstacles he has overcome to make flying even faster and safer,Concorde has truly set itself in the aviation history books forever.
Top marks to Airfix for producing this classic aeroplane in miniature and above all at a price we can afford.
