| Seems like a pretty drastic way to get rid of an icon!
Presumably you have used the Add/Remove program function from the Control Panel to remove the unwanted files but this has not removed the icon.
If this is the case, simply right click on the icon and delete it.
If you are still concerned, try one of the Registry Cleaner/Optimiser programmes like the one by SysTweak. This will remove any disconnected registry entries that may be hanging around. |
