Ink Jet cartridges.

Now I am sure there must be others here who have experimented with re-filling these overpriced ink cartidges ? I have tried refilling the ones in my Epson with some succes but the Hewlett Packard is another story ! all these are is a set of three sponges that soak up the different coloured inks, there is a copper strip which makes contact with the printer circuitry,it should be simplicity itself to do the job but somehow I dont seem to be having much success with refilling the HP ones ? I rang up HP about their kits and they say that the cartridge must be pressurised, but the instructions just say to tape the top back onto the cartridge,I have even gone one step better and tried squeezing the cartridge and glueing the top back on,ie there is some pressure, but this does not seem to work either as then ink exudes from the base and I usually finish up mopping up the ink,is there some secret with filling these things that someone knows about ? the cartridges are not exactly rocket science with what amounts to sponge reservoirs,in my curiosity have dissected them to see what magic they hold, not much ! any ideas please ?
