*** Yes I know what you mean,get a bottle of white spirit from your hardware shop ( not sure what you call them over in the States) use this for thinning enamel and cleaning brushes,it will do fine for brush painting and is cheap,the decent brushes will not be cheap even more reason to look after them,if you can only afford the one then go for the three eighths one first to get you going,I dont want you to be bankrupted.
