Duncan I agree with you,during the past few years there has been a marked change in transportation colourschemes whether it be land,sea or air,gone are the dowdy bland standard what I term 'designers or draughtsmans' colours,now airliners have www addresses emblezoned from nose to tail with bright sometimes garish colours,it all started with de-regulation in the U.S.A when the carriers wanted their machines to really stand out.
Many of the colours would need careful planning for model use,but it sure is a refreshing change from black and white.
