    Everythingairbrush

    hi,
I'm researching as to what airbrush and compressor to buy, and when I go to everythingairbrush web-site, my security-suite (Zone-Alarm) alerts me to the site being suspect. Apparently the site appears in spam block-lists. Can anyone vouch for them?
    Thanks.

I have read where many people have dealt with them and recommend them. Are you going to The official site? I can see no reason for it being listed, and I have read of people using them through ebay to. However, wait until you here from someone who has dealt with them

I ordered my airbrush from them on the 25th it still hasn't come they told my I have to wait 14 days before they will look in to it.

Try Airbrush | Airbrushes | Compressors | Airbrush Accessories | Airbrush Kits if you need advise speak to them they are very helpfull, I will be reviewing the as189 compressor soon and I will also be providing a 10% discount code to use on their site

I can't touch for them Mark, but I can recommend the AB & compressor kit that I bought. It's from a company called Absolute Airbrush (I can't post a link for some reason) & you'll find them on ebay. For £72 inc postage, I got a gravity-feed double action AB, a bottom-feed single action, compressor, spare bottles & an in-line mini moisture trap that fits to the airbrush (that's as well as the main one on the compressor). It arrived just a few days after buying it. So far I've nothing but praise for the kit, it all works perfectly. The compressor isn't 'silent' (none of them are at these prices!) but makes a low chugging sound. No-one in my block of flats has noticed it even late at night. As for the airbrushes, there are a few points about the use of strong solvents, common to all the chinese-sourced AB's but that shouldn't put you off, no matter which retailer you chose. Hope that helps. Patrick

I've had no problem with everythingairbrush but that 14 day thing for John doesn't seem like good customer relations! I also use airbrushes.com and they too are excellent.I once sent an email question and received a reply from France where Ken Medwell was on holiday. That is good customer relations!
    Cheers

Looking forward to that discount code John, need some bits and bobs. I can't believe how cheap airbrushes are these days! I bought mine in 1996 and it must have cost £80, now I just saw one on ebay for £6, new! I bought it! I reckon you always get what you pay for but if it works for a week, it'll be worth it! I can't get a replacement needle for my old brush for that much. Now to find the most toxic muck I can to put through it...

thanks for the replies. I have pretty much decided on the AB-AS186 or AS189 compressor, and possibly an Iwata Eclipse CS airbrush, the only niggle is whether it's daft for a newbie to spend so much on an airbrush?

If you can afford the AS189 then go for that one, it has the receiver tank which stops the jerks you get when pressing the trigger, it's quieter and because it fills up the receiver tank and only fills it up when it's 1/4 full (or 3/4 empty :) ) it uses less energy as it's not going all the time.

For a 10% dicount on your order at simple2trade.com use code SCALEMODELS when checking out

Oh and when it comes to air brushing I'm a total noob too, but after a lot of research and talking to people that know their stuff I decided to get the AS189

    thanks John.
I thought they both had the receiver tank? (the 186 and 189). I don't know what the 186 lacks compared to the 189, but I will take your advice and get the AS189 from simple2trade.
    cheers
