plans for a RC Supermarine Walrus 60+

I am in need of some plans for the Supermarine Walrus. Plans need not be large in size as I can scale them up to a size suitable for a 20-23 Zenoah.

Xplans have a plan but I've not had a response from them and it's been some time.

I am working on a 1/4 scale N3N-3 (8' span) and a 1/4 scale Pup with wheels and hard points for the attachment of floats. These will keep me busy through the Spring but I'd like to start kitting up and researching the Walrus.

Thanks for any help anyone might provide.

Hi Bipe, you could try the Large Model Association here in the UK. There was a large ( 10ft) Zenoah powered Sea Otter on the go a couple of years back. Might make life easier with the tractor layout, or get some basics from the builder. Roger Bale is his name , contact robin@LargeModelAssociation.com and he will put you on to him.

Hi Bipe,

Did a little search and came up with these nice 3 views, shouldn't be too hard to work out your own plans from these.

http://www.seawings.co.uk/walplans.htm

Another view also found at www.suurland.com as follows:

http://www.suurland.com/blueprint_x....s.gif&id=13097

Not as good as the first link but still worth a look.

Suurland.com is an excellent source for 3 views of many aircraft, ships and Cars. Check out their Blueprints section and you will find them there. (You don't need to sign up or log in either) They do have a few nice unusual aircraft in there too.

Hope this Helps.

Regards......Mark
