p-47 help needed

hi guys, i'm new to the site but i need a little advice. I'm building a p-47 but the kit had quite a big gap in between the fuselage and the wing, which i filled. However now i'm not sure wether it should have a panel line there or not. would it have had root filletslike the spit or not . Any help would be greatly recieved.
cheers jeff

Hi Jeff and Welcome to the Forums,

Indeed the P-47 does have a similar wing root fillet as found on the Spitfire, just go to google and do an Image search on P-47, You will come up with plenty of pics of the P-47 showing the fillet very nicely.

You can see it clearly in the example pic I have posted below. I do like the scheme on this one too.....Would make a nice R/C model I reckon.

Hope this helps.

Regards........Mark
