Paxolin wanted

Guys (and girls!), does anyone know a good source for small quantities of paxolin?.

I'm looking for 1mm thick stuff - about 200mm2 or thereabouts

Thanks in advance.

This came up on a search
http://www.directplasticsonline.co.uk/home.php?cat=3678

It looks quite interesting.

Cheers John, it didn't occur to me to look for this material under a different brand name ('Tufnol', 'Bakelite' e.t.c).

Apart from the fact this firm sells small quantities which is always good news for us modellers - the prices are pretty keen too so you get a big thanks from me and from my wallet!.

You're welcome, i had a suspicion Maplin sold it, and was therefore pleasantly surprised at the prices quoted on that site.

When I searched on Google for 'Paxolin' John, Maplin was the only link I could find but then when I visited their site they had none. Certainly got a bargain dealing with that direct plastics firm...thanks again.

Just "Googled" this and can't seem to find anything in the way of H&S info concerning paxolin - always better to play safe though so thanks for the warning Barry, I'll trust in your knowledge of the stuff and wear a mask
