Pioneer aeroplane repair.



Over the weekend this little beauty came my way from an aviation museum,it did not look like this but just a big heap of bits when it came through my workshop,patiently like a picture restorer I pieced her together,the wrinkled silkspan looks good for the period,I think that it represents the Lillenthial type of glider,the brave soul stands inside the box,then leaps from a cliff swinging his body to try and turn,I really like it so much that my intention is to make a replica of the model,the museum curater is delighted with the restoration for the early birds cabinet.
