| More Scale models.
As you have probably guessed my main interest lies in scale model aircraft,last year was the 100 th Anniversary of powered flight, and to mark this occasion I built and flew some real pioneer machines,here are two Wright Flyer biplanes that I really enjoyed making,one use that I put them to was to give talks in schools about the Wright Brothers and how they designed and flew their remarkable creations,the kids just loved it especially when I gave a demonstration in the playground with my small electric R/C Tiger Moth,I zoomed over their classrooms,flew between the trees and landed back in the playground,the teacher told me that they were talking about it for weeks which cannot be bad publicity for our great hobby,sometime soon I am going to show them how helicopters fly as well,it is vital to keep the young blood interested and perhaps one day they too will be writing here on this forum and telling us how a demonstration of model flying got them hooked ? you never know.
