Pogo, can I congratulate you on such a lovely collection of models, glad that you got to grips with the gallery pictures,it is easy really and a great facility.
One question, what is the silver finish on the T-6 Harvard ? it looks most effective, and yes Nigel is right more angles on the Avro Vulcan please, the one picture does not do it justice.

Thanks for the complement .The Harvard was moulded in bright red plastic. I used Humbrol Metalcote polished aluminium with a tad of gloss black. I then sprayed it and when dry gently buffed it up.
The elevators were painted with a small amount of light grey to give it a worn look

Well you have certainly captured the finish well,I have never used Humbrol Metalcote, they have some picture framers rub-n-buff in the local Hobbycraft shop, must try this sometime.

Pogo,

I've just had a look through your pictures. Very many thanks for sharing them with us and letting us see your collection. There are some very nice models there, my particular favourite being the 1/24th 109.

What is the story behind making it for someone?
