Welcome Schlissefahrt. You've gotta be German with a user-name like that, but I can't work out what it could mean.

I'm a normally a prop man (in fact I think I only ever built one jet: Airfix's Saab Viggen, when I was about 9 years old). I have to say I just love the lines of both the A-6 and S-3; I might just have to build one this year!

I built a model of the S-3 Viking back when I was about 13 or so. It came out horrible due to my newbiness at the time, but I have loved that plane for some odd reason ever since I first saw it. And I am glad I could put you out of your misery, alan .

Edit: Actually, i am not German, although I do speak it and have been there a few times. Literally it means "go silent". I first heard it before I learned German playing a computer game called Silent Hunter III (a very good submarine game based on WWII German U-boats).

I was trying to figure out what Schlissefahrt translated as! I was figuring silent running - as in the old U Boat flicks like Das Boot, when an enemy vessel is approaching!
