Arrow 1:48 scale Huey Hog by Revell

Howdy guys,

Well, I have been at it again. This time its Revells 1:48th scale Huey Hog.
I remember this model from my early childhood and when I saw it, I thought that it was something I would just "throw together" quickly. Well, what I considered quick back in my youth is not "quick" now that I am 43 yrs old lol.
The model took a couple hours to build even without having to consult the instructions. (I find that I have built so many models in the past, that I am building alot of duplicates).
I would recomend this model for any age builder in that it goes together well and looks presentable when completed.
Anyway, enough rambling, here she is:

Have a good day,

Greg

Nice Looking Model there Greg,

The Huey has always been one of my favourite Helicopters too, A real Workhorse of a Helicopter that one. The Numbers built, various roles it performed and still does to this day says something in itself.

And there is of course that very distinctive Rotor sound when in flight too caused by the blade slap....Unmistakeable when you hear it.
I have a Revell German SAR UH-1D Version which I am building up in original Vietnam Era Scheme. I have plenty of decals for various UH-1D'S from Vietnam....I managed to get some at a model show years ago so they will be put to use on this model.

Regards........Mark.

I once had a civilian Huey which I put in the middle of my Scalextric set. It really looked the part as a press chopper and set off the layout perfectly.
