I use T-Cut on my bike and it basically removes a very very thin later of paint thus removing the scratchs so i would be VERY careful using this on your model (which is great btw), best bet is glass polishing paper, a littler harder to find but they go up to 24,000 grain and will really bring your bodywork up like glass (the MotoGP guys use a form of this...)
