r33 wip

well this is annother wip i have going, its a r33 gts-t, gonna paint tomorrow, gonna be a matt black (taymia TS-14) with clear (taymia TS-13) over the top with black centred rims (leaving chrome lip) i stole the rims off my veilside rx7 and gave the rx7 the r33 rims, i think it should come out nice
like a black beast

dont you paint it from the inside of the shell? so the clear would go on before the black???

personaly i think the black rims might be a bit too much, with the black tyre as well it will just be a tiny circle of chrome on the whole thing.

thought about painting them white? or even red, quite wierd but alot of people have black cars with red rims, personally i think that looks crap but white looks good.

my bro had a dark blue focus with white rims, looked the dogs b*****, not quite black but same effect!

lol, what? black before clear mate...lol

the body isnt glued to the chassis ATM, just about to fit interior to the chassis,

and i think a good think about modeling is freedom and personal choices and preferances, i wont paint the rims till the body is painted, i have photoshoped it all up but didnt save, it looked mean

its the look i like, dark and understated

but you do paint the inside of the shell right? to stop the paint from cracking and getting chipped if you have a few bumps?
