Lotus Seven "Big Cat"

Lotus Seven "Big Cat"
I started this project for another forum, but i thought I'd post it here to see what you guys made of it.
I've started the butchery required to fit the huge V6 into the front... Here are the major parts of the car. The Engine, Seat, Rear Chassis, Dashboard and Roll-Cage.

Thats all for now

The kit is made by tamiya, as is the engine, and the wheels are from a revell ford focus rally car painted gunmetal. The arrangment is practise for my GCSE photography and art next year.
Thanks for you encouragment.

lol i thought i recognised the wheels!!!

its wierd as in the models the focus RS has those wheels, where in real life its the focus ST that has those wheels. (my brother has a real ST and RS and a tamiya model RS that i got him for xmas)

so you are only 16?

congrats you must be our youngest memeber!!!

so you are making this kit as if it where a kit car (say the dax lotus 7), your own engine, your own wheels....etc even if your not thats a very nice idea, i might give it ago. See if i can fit 2 engines from tamiya GSX models in there as that is prob what i would do in real life.

Why can you not use wood???

Cars used to be made of wood.
If I remember rightly, there is a sports car with some wooden body parts?

Yeah the wooden one is made by morgan, and the chassis is wooden, but i did reasearch on this car, (the lotus seven) and it is made of metal and plastic. (and i also do mostly plastic kits.)

Interior and Rollcage

I have made more progress on the interior, it is nearly finished, only thing left is the seatbelt belt and the wiring.
Heres what it looks like so far.

Thats all for now
Any comments and suggestions are apreciated, I always like to learn...
Euan
