Modified Mini

ok doke

what i have here are some pics of a friends mini model rc car.

for the technophob`s out there this is a Thunder tiger ts4n V2 chassis, with stock engine ( .12 force) .

modifications to this car , apoart from the body are......

yokomo racing shocks ( oil type)
medium quality springs.
high torque steering servo ( keil) ( steering.)
slick tyres
RB innovaions supercharger kit modified to fit.
anodised add on heatsink for charger.
optional 2 speed gearbox fitted

runs on 16% fuel

pics 3 and 4 show the charger atop the engine with the drivebeltshown.
i`ll get a couple more pics of the running gear and post them.

with these additions it handles a lot better than standard, and screams like a banshee with the supercharger running. though there long term effects still to be ascertained with this modification. but time will tell.

and wyoming

just to show you how much modification has been doen to this model , here is a pic of how it started life. the shell is now showing signs of wear, but he`s gonna do another one now that he`s got his ideas going.

the superchargers do work m8, but not really until higher rpm`s are reached. not really good for monster trux or off road buggies whiuch need more torque.

but i can assure you that the supercharger mod does work !

we never ever got top speed on this chassis as the ts4n chassis aren`t the best handling , the yokomo shocks and spring changes did help.

unfortunately it`s now dead mark, it ran nearly full speed into the front of my mta4 monster truck and was completely obliterated.

only thing salvageable was the engine and charger
