1/24 RX7 Aoshima

Picked this model up about 5 weeks ago or so and have had it finished for a while, but only just recently found this forum. Few goofs i made from being careless, but it turned out alright.

Favorite thing is just how the turn signal looks on the '99 version of these cars, they dont look half bad on the model either. There are some imperfections, (forgot to sand the hood for one) but its alright.

Let me know what you guys think.

very nice indeed mate.

i do love the RX07.

im guessing by the interior shots that is a revell kit?

whats wrong witht he hood? just give it a nice gloss coat and it will look stunning!

Richard

Thanks for the welcome Richard. I like this forum, active users is a great plus.

Its actually an Aoshima kit, although i expect its about the same quality as a revell. Not much goin on at all with the interior, a dash piece and the seats, everything else is flat. There are surprisingly pedals, i dont think you can see them in the pic i took though. I have another variant i recieved as a gift actually, i plan to add some details to the interior of it because i want to atleast improve on it. First i must complete a motorcycle kit.

Case

edit: The hood just had some mold lines in them for some reason, i forgot to sand them out after the base coat and didnt feel like re-doing it. Its not too apparent in my photos i suppose.
