Long time ago a central European Formula 3 racer using a 3 cylinder two stroke engine(DKW I think) was banned for using one cylinder to "pump" the other two making the engine a supercharged twin. Cant work that one out either but top marks for "engine uity" . I would have given him the chance to race.

Just checked that site . VERY impressive. What proportion of nitro is norm for cars? I`ve seen 65% used on outrigger hydros in the US. It is much cheaper there than in UK. I00 mph possible, I saw 96 in 1976. No tuned pipe, 35 size engine K&B I think. Boat (Crapshooter) all 1/32" ply and about 30 props to choose from. The blower would be useful if nitro use restricted.
