*** A genuine ducted fan,I remember someone made a model of this in the fifties with a small diesel motor for power,good thing about this is you can use a standard prop,might have a go for electric power Duncan ? I think it would fly well.

At a guess P E Norman would have had a go at this being the pioneer of model ducted fans. Not my cup of tea though.
